As the name suggests, powder paint is applied as a coating, but when cured it is similar to normal paint.
Powder coatings can be repaired.
Powder coatings can be combined and polished.
Powder Coating is harder than wet paint.
The powder melts and forms a liquid at about 200 degrees Celsius.
Grit blast cleans the metal and gives a good key for paint adhesion. No matter how good the paint is, applying it to dirty metal will fail in the paint coating area.
Suspended in a combination of acrylic-containing resins, the chromate rust inhibitor is used to protect the metal under the liner.
It is one of the parts that require high quality for export. For example automotive and agricultural vehicle parts. Our paint facility allows us to coat thousands of small components or large heavy structures up to 3 tons.
The paintwork is powder coated in the oven, it can powder coat up to 8m, 9m, 10m, 11m, 12m length.
Metal parts used in industrial sectors such as all plastic and steel constructions, agricultural tools, automotive spare parts, on-vehicle equipment and industrial machinery, etc. Wet paint application may be preferred for protection against.
Our Quality Powder and Wet Paint Service Has Started in Our 2020 Model Facility in Ankara Akyurt Factory.

Wet Paint
It is the general name given to paints that are liquid during application. Generally, it can be divided into three main groups: Water-based, Solvent-based and Solvent-free paint technology.
Although water-based paint technology has become more prominent lately due to global pollution and environmental protection efforts, solvent-based paint technologies with very little solvent (2-3%) have an advantage in price / performance comparison. It still continues to be used primarily in the sector.
Brush, roller, dipping and paint guns (air, airless) are the main application methods. While these methods can be done with muscle power without the need for a power source for roller and brush, electric or compressed air powered pumps and spray guns are needed for air and airless spraying.
Powder Paint
It is the general name given to paints that become powder during application. It contains resin, pigments and modifying agents, but no solvents. The powdered paint is interlocked by heat and often by electricity, forming a continuous layer of paint film.
ELECTROSTATIC GUN and FLUIDIZED BED (ENG. FLUIDIZED BED) technologies are two main application methods for the application of powder paints. To briefly introduce these methods:
The most widely used method is the application of ELECTROSTATIC SPRAY, the application of an electrically charged paint to a grounded material with the help of compressed air.
Another method used in powder coating application is the Fluidized Bed method; This process is accomplished by heating the substrate and then filling the powder paint into a gaseous bed, the dust particles melt adhering to the heated / hot object. More heating is usually required before the paint can complete its curing. This method is generally used in cases with the desired thickness of the coating, ie exceeding 300 micrometers. This method is an application for coating dishwasher racks.
OVEN DRYING (CONVECTION, UV or IR CURING) is the required process for curing powder paint. In this furnace, the powder particles harden under the effect of heat-pressure and when they are exposed to high temperature, they start to melt and flow outwards and undergo chemical reaction and form network-like structures to form high molecular weight polymers. During this curing process, there is a certain temperature and time that is called crosslinking and is designed to fully cure the material. Powder coated plates are usually kept at around 200 ° C for 10 minutes. this temperature and time can change according to the customer's request.
You can examine the advantages / disadvantages of both technologies compared to each other in the table below:
